New York—Hearts On Fire partnered with Girls Inc., a nonprofit focused on empowering girls, to launch a new capsule collection that debuted Friday, International Women’s Day.

The Boston-based diamond brand partnered with four girls from the Lynn, Massachusetts chapter who had showed an interest in jewelry during a previous visit with the Hearts On Fire team. (Hearts On Fire has been partnering with Girls Inc. since May, contributing a percentage of its 2018 sales from its Lorelei Collection to the organization.)

Students Jojo, Dakota, Christania and Emily were a part of the process every step of the way, brainstorming ideas, creating mood boards, using CAD to create the designs and then 3-D printing the molds.

“We’re thrilled to continue our work with Girls Inc. in this latest initiative and we’re looking forward to showing off the girls’ hard work with this collection,” said Stephanie Evans Greene, Hearts On Fire’s vice president of marketing.

The girls wasted no time bringing their designs to life, starting the process in September and having the pieces ready for display just six months later.

National Jeweler viewed the collection Friday at William Barthman Jeweler, a New York City retailer that’s been around since 1884.

Every piece in the “HOF & Girls Inc. Collection,” a capsule collection within the “Lorelei” range, features a center diamond with a twisting spiral, representing the importance of surrounding young women with love and support.

The pieces, priced from $1,600 up to $17,500, are available at Hearts On Fire retailers and online.

A standout piece is the Lorelei diamond and ruby floral flip ring in 18-karat white gold ($4,100), which features diamonds on one side and rubies on the other.

A percentage of the proceeds from sales of the collection will be donated to Girls Inc.
